UNU-MERIT Internal Conference 2024
We are pleased to announce the 2024 edition of our UNU-MERIT Internal Conference - 26th and 27th September 2024, at Belvedere and UNU-MERIT premises. During this conference our staff and PhD fellows have the opportunity to present their work.
This is a key event for our institute, where we collectively kick off the academic year, welcome the new PhD cohorts, and discuss and engage with the research of higher year PhD fellows and the academic staff, and connect with colleagues.

Who can present?
Presentation is restricted to staff and PhD fellows affiliated to UNU-MERIT.
All UNU-MERIT academic staff and all Dual Career fellows attending the event as well as Full Time fellows from year 2 to 4 are expected to present their research work and ideas. Other UNU-MERIT PhDs can present depending on availability of slots.
Who can attend?
All UNU-MERIT staff, all PhDs (full-time and part-time), and affiliates are expected to attend in person. Other UM students, affiliates, and interested people are welcome to join and can attend upon registration (deadline to register is 11 September).
