Bridging Ideas and Innovations in Sustainable Development with Porta Mosana College (internal event)
Interactive Workshop: Bridging Ideas and Innovations in Sustainable Development
On 5 June, we will be holding a dynamic interactive workshop featuring PhD students and staff from UNU-MERIT alongside Year 4 TTO students, aged 15-16, from Porta Mosana College. This collaborative event, scheduled for 11:00-15:30, will host approximately 40 students from Porta Mosana and 10-12 from Maastricht University/UNU-MERIT.
The workshop will commence with short presentation sessions where students will showcase their projects, followed by an engaging 'World Café' session. This will facilitate in-depth interactions between the students and UNU-MERIT's staff, revolving around the research and initiatives being undertaken at the university. The World Café will explore five key themes: Social Pillar, Economic Pillar, Environmental Pillar, Smart City/AI, and Methods.
This workshop aims to foster a creative and supportive environment where young minds can exchange ideas and gain valuable insights into how academic research impacts sustainable development.
For any questions about this event, please contact the organiser Zina Nimeh, Associate Professor at UNU-MERIT.
