Building Networks with CINPE-UNA, Costa Rica: Experiences from the CatChain project

Dr. Fernando Saenz Segura and Suyen Alonso Ubieta will present their activities as part of the CatChain initiative, a project built on a multidisciplinary and multi-sectoral exchange programme. During the seminar, they will briefly introduce the Centre of Economic Policy for Sustainable Development (CINPE), a research institute of the National University of Costa Rica, and their research activities with a focus on digital agriculture and the adaptability of entrepreneurial ecosystems.

About the speaker
Dr. Fernando Saenz Segura is a senior researcher and lecturer at CINPE, Universidad Nacional of Costa Rica (UNA). Research subjects: institutional economics, development of rural territories and Public Policies analysis, agricultural economics. ORCID ID: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8260-7751
Suyen Alonso Ubieta also teaches at CINPE. She is currently a PhD candidate in Business Economics at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (ITCR). Her research interests include small business management, international trade and socially responsible accounting.
